The Kansas City Royals have finally fired Allard Baird (who, for the past week, has set an example of classy behavior in a bad situation) and hired Dayton Moore from the Atlanta Braves as General Manager.
Moore is the consensus "right choice" for the Royals, who are about as bad a professional sports franchise right now as can be imagined.
