South Dakota State beats Minnesota 5-4 in ten innings.

It was SDSU’s first win against the Gophers (16-22) since 1966, ending a streak of nine consecutive losses in the series since moving to the NCAA Division I level, including three defeats by a total of four runs last month.From SDSU Sports Information[*2] , the box score:
“It was just a great win,” Jacks coach Reggie Christiansen said. “This might be one of the biggest wins we’ve had in the four years I’ve been here. I can’t be more proud of our guys.”
