He was elected in large part because of black racism and white guilt. That would be a difficult legacy for a skilled statesman to overcome. Obama is clearly not a skilled statesman. There are some Americans with enhanced skin melanin content who might make a good President–Obama is not in that group, for a variety of reasons having nothing to do with melanin.
