I’m in Chattanooga attending my fourth LibertyCon–a very odd, nice little science fiction convention. It’s odd and nice because something over half of all the attendees are authors, editors, artists, or other professionals making a living (or trying to) writing/producing science fiction–mostly literary (i.e. books/e-books).
That’s odd because most SF conventions’ attendees are overwhelmingly fans, with the authors et al being a relative minority. It’s nice because yours truly continues to have aspirations of actually getting something written up and published some day.
LibertyCon is a little convention because its bylaws cap the attendees at 750. So you basically can’t help but run into an author wherever you turn. It’s rubbing off on me, I think, but all too slowly!
Anyway, progress to this point: 2,042 posts published, 985 migrated posts to edit and re-publish here on WordPress.
Now, I go forth to conventionate once more.
